I am, Furqan Irfan, founder of FIDS Design Studio, come from the Muslim Marwari Silawat community, a lineage deeply rooted in the art of construction and architectural craftsmanship for centuries. Our ancestors originated from Marwar, Rajasthan, renowned for their expertise in stone masonry and intricate architectural designs. Even in Karachi’s history, our community has played a vital role in building some of the city’s most iconic structures, including the High Court, Old Assembly, and other historic landmarks.
